Distance Education & Training Council
City Vision College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council, which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) as a nationally recognized accrediting agency for distance learning schools. As such, our programs and administrative policies are frequently reviewed to ensure that we continue to meet the DETC's exacting standards of excellence.

Missouri Department of Higher Education
City Vision College is certified to operate as a provider of postsecondary education by the MDHE.  The central focus of the Proprietary School Certification Program is consumer protection. This is accomplished through the establishment of standards for school operation and regular monitoring of the operations of the college.		  
   

Association for Biblical Higher Education
City Vision College is an affiliate member of ABHE, which was organized in October, 1947. Formerly known as the American Association of Bible Colleges, it offers a variety of programs and services to affiliate institutions. 

As an affiliate institution of the Association for Biblical Higher Education, City Vision College participates in and contributes to collegial and professional development activities of the association.  Affiliate status does not, however, constitute, imply, or presume ABHE accredited status at present or in the future.


NAADAC Approved Education Provider
City Vision College is an Approved Education Provider by NAADAC , the association for professional addiction counselors. (APO17) The  Addiction Studies program has been examined by an independent body for content applicability to state and national certification standards and is approved by the National Certification Commission (NCC). This rigorous review process ensures that students receive a consistent, reliable and quality learning experience that is applicable to their careers and advances their understanding of addiction-related issues.  Those participating in these courses are assured that the continuing education credits (CEs) provided will be accepted toward national credentialing by the NCC, as well as many of the individual state licensing/certification bodies.
 

  
   

Christian Leadership Alliance Certification
Graduates who complete the Nonprofit Management track in the Missions program are granted 20 points toward the 100 points required for the Certified Stewardship Professional certification offered by the Christian Leadership Alliance.  Normally only 10 points are granted for a college degree. CLA determined the content of the courses offered were applicable enough to offer a second 10 points for their completion. The remaining points must be earned according to the requirements outlined for the CSP program.
   

CFRE International Approved Education Provider
The Certified Fund Raising Executive Credential is the mark of excellence for fundraising professionals. CFRE International, which grants the credential, has approved several City Vision College courses for continuing education credit. Full participation in these courses is applicable for forty-five (45) points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
   

 

ACCESS
An association dedicated to providing professional growth opportunities and resources for Christian institutions and individuals committed to develop greater accessibility in education.  Recognizing that most adults cannot be extracted from the context of their work and ministry to pursue further training in a residential environment, ACCESS members are today on the "cutting-edge" of discovery and delivery of nontraditional approaches to training Christian leaders.
