by Fletcher L. Tink

A Start

  1. It changes my attitude about the city---I see it filled it in with warmth and amusing contradictions

  2. It changes my attitude about theology---I find it less “systematic” and more dynamic

  3. It changes the way in which I read Scripture---I discover new Scriptures which speak to me

  4. It changes the way in which I view institutions---I see many more “signs of the Kingdom”

  5. It changes the way in which I understand evil---I understand better systemic and cosmic evil

  6. It changes the way in which I see family---I recognize my need for community

  7. It changes the way in which I understand salvation---I see redemption as both immediate and as process

  8. It changes the way in which I understand normalcy---I am far more tolerant as to what is acceptable

  9. It changes my priorities (triaging)---I don’t get as bent out of shape over minor issues

  10. It changes my realities/alternative realities---I find new ways of relaxing and enjoying

  11. It changes my desire to fix things---I realize that I’m not in control

  12. It changes my prayer life---I pray much more intensely now about critical issues
