Biographical Sketch

Hank Voss (PhD, Wheaton College) is national director of church planting at World Impact and senior national staff with The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI). He is the author or co-author of a number of books including Representing Christ (IVP Academic) and The Priesthood of All Believers and the Missio Dei  (Wipf and Stock). His ministry experience includes fifteen years in urban ministry focused on cross-cultural church planting and contextualized theological education. In this role he has worked with more than one hundred urban churches and more than twenty denominations and church planting organizations.  He is a graduate of Wheaton College, Talbot School of Theology, and Taylor University, and he has completed additional studies at the University of Chicago Divinity School, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Jerusalem University College  (Jerusalem, Israel), and Harvest Language School (Guadalajara, Mexico). Voss is married to fellow World Impact missionary Johanna and they have four children.
